Neighborhood
Salt Lake City, Utah, USA has many wonderful neighborhoods, but East Liberty Park is one of the more desirable areas to live in the downtown area of this beautiful city surrounded by the Wasatch and Oquirrh (Oak-er) Mountains. Our neighborhood consists of the 9th and 9th area, the Whale (look that up and join the quirky annual marathon that consists of running around in a circle for twenty-five miles), and many wonderful shops and restaurants. It is a mixed use, walking neighborhood that allows residents to enjoy everyday life without having to get in a car. Alleys contain older buildings that are interesting photographically, the 9th and 9th Festival every Fall is, also, a fascinating event to photograph. Many progressively minded people work together to improve the neighborhood on a daily basis. Windsor Street is known as Halloween Street, which comes to life and looks like a scene from a Hollywood movie with all kinds of trick-or-treaters of all ages enjoying the celebration. I've made many photographs of this area through the years and I hope to upload more of this Street, Urban and Nature Photography specific to our beloved neighborhood.
